We went to the farmer's market the other weekend. It was lovely. I like meeting the people we are buying food from and knowing that they are experts. Here are some photos I took. So much to take snap shots there. All with an 85mm lens.

madhu randomly sent me the link to your blog and i just wanted to tell you that your photos are really impressive. like so good it makes me sad that i can't get anywhere near that kind of consistency in my shots.

ReplyDeleteMegan also mentioned that it is not just practice, but also the 85mm lens at about f/2. The limited depth of field in these pictures is equipment-dependent.
ReplyDeleteit's more than just the equipment. i shoot at f1.8 all the time but still don't get the overall quality you're getting. and some of your subjects are pretty normal (like the fruit in this post).
